ZEHR BATTLES THROUGH FIRST K&N START AT DAYTONA

PORTAGE, Wis. (February 20, 2013) – The inaugural Battle of the Beach turned out to be an aptly named event after all. TUNDRA Super Late Model Series 2012 runner-up Dalton Zehr made starts in both the Whelen Late Models and K&N Pro Series. He dodged multiple melees in front of him to find the checkered in both events – a tough task in itself.

In a wild Whelen Late Model Main on Monday night Zehr secured a top ten, dodging caution after caution throughout the 150-lap feature. He finished 8th.

On Tuesday Night Zehr suffered a flat left rear tire and fell several laps down in his K&N Pro Series debut. He carried on to finish 15th.

“Well, not the finish we were looking for the flat left rear put us 3 laps down. From there it was just waiting around for the finish. Thanks for all the support everyone,” Zehr said via his Facebook account.

We will have MUCH more with Dalton Zehr later this weekend. Be sure to check back!
